Client:
The Gun Works Muzzleloading Emporium opened its business on January 15, 1981 with more than 50 years of owner’s experience in muzzle loading. Since then, it has grown extensively and became one of the largest retailers in the US with customers ranging from local to nationwide selling products in their local shop in person or by mail order using their catalog.

Objective:
With more than 1,000 products, locating interested customers and distributing product catalogs can be very difficult tasks to any retailer or wholesaler. The Gun Works needed a way to attract prospective customers to their shop and allow them to purchase their products online.

Solution:
Due to the large quantity of products, one of the most important considerations was categorizing those products into sub categories and reflecting the categorization scheme into a streamlined navigation system. Another important aspect was the Gun Works’ ability to maintain the product information including price, dimension, high-quality product photo, special features, descriptions and etc. PacInfo’s e-commerce solution was developed for the Gun Works to meet all the requirements specified above. Most of all, customers can easily locate products of interest through the intuitive navigation system and check out of the shopping area in a couple of clicks. Immediately after checking out of the shopping area, the customer and the Gun Works receive a confirmation message and order message respectively. After all, the shopping cart system is custom-designed to well reflect the Gun Works’ business philosophy of “Customer Service and Satisfaction”. This e-commerce solution is directly tied to the Gun Works’ administration site. Through this interface, the Gun Works’ administrator can enter, edit and/or delete any part or all of the product information through password-protected admin pages. The Gun Works’ administrator is not required to know anything about web design or programming while they have virtually full control over the their site.

Features:
Streamlined navigation, fully integrated with product inventory control system.
