How
to create a dial up connection to PacInfo using
the Connection Wizard on Windows XP: |
1. Click
the Start button on the windows task bar, go up
to Run and type in the word "inetwiz"
without the quotes and click OK. |

2. It should start
up the Internet Connection Wizard to set up your
connection to PacInfo. Select Connect using my phone
line and click the Next button. |

3. Enter the area
code and phone number for your PacInfo dial-up connection.
Enter 541 for the area code and 762-7762 for the
Telephone number then click the Next button to continue.

4. Enter the username
and password for your PacInfo account. Your username
is the text at the beginning of your e-mail address.
For example, if your e-mail address is john@pacinfo.com,
then your username would be john. Click the Next
button to continue. |

5. Enter
a name for the dial-up connection ("pacinfo"
will do) and click Next. |
|
6. When asked if you
want to set up an Internet mail account, select
Yes and click Next. |
|
7. Enter your name
and click Next. |
|
8. 8.
Enter your e-mail address and click Next. |
|
9. Enter the mail
servers as shown below mail.pacinfo.com for the incoming
mail server and mail.pacinfo.com for the outgoing
mail server. |

10. Enter
you username and password and click Next. |
|
11. Click Finish to
save your new dial-up connection and your e-mail
account settings. |
